Job Summary and Qualifications
Kidney Associates of Kansas City is seeking a caring and compassionate individual to assist in all areas of our busy Nephrology practice.
Responsibilities of the position:
- Documentation of patient encounters in EMR
- Answering patient calls and scheduling appointments
- Prep patient charts and track labs
- Room patients (check in/check out)
- Interact with other medical offices
- Process medical records requests
- Travel to other locations with providers (Paid mileage for travel)
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certificate from college or technical school with concentration in communications, healthcare, or customer service (preferred)
- At least 1 year experience in customer service or medical setting
- Strong customer service experience
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of EMR Software and Word Processing
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with ability and comfort level communicating with the providers and patients
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Highly organized
- High energy, positive attitude, self-starter, and independent thinker

Full time - Monday - Thursday 8:30 to 5:00 and Fridays 8:30 to 4:30.
We have 3 office locations in the KC Metro, 1 office location in Clinton MO and 1 office location in Warrensburg MO. Travel to all office locations is a requirement of this position.
Wage: $16-$19 / hour
