Kidney Associates of Kansas City is seeking a skilled RN to assist our physicians and nurse practitioners in managing the care for our patients. This is a great position for the candidate that is compassionate about patient care, is looking for the challenge of learning about managing patients with chronic illness, and is seeking the lifestyle of a regular schedule with NO weekend, nights or call schedule.

This candidate will have the following qualifications, skills and experience:

• Active RN license
• Passion for patient care
• Critical thinking skills
• Motivated to learn
• Experience with chronic care in hospital or office setting preferred

Responsibilities include:

• Phone calls with patients and other healthcare providers
• Communication and care management for patients with renal disease and multiple chronic illnesses
• Independently assessing emergent health problems and communicate concerns to appropriate physicians
• Patient education

Job Type: Part Time, Daytime Shifts, 8:00am-5:00pm 2 or 3 days per week M-F
